As peacebuilders move increasingly to adopt digital tools and processes, we must reflect on how the design of technology connects to peacebuilding practice. This course introduces Build Up’s non-violent, human centered design process that incorporates best practices tailored to the intersection of peacebuilding and technology.
This course will work best if you come to it with a concrete peacebuilding challenge in mind for which you want to design a program that leverages technology. The course assumes you have engaged with our foundation course Digital Peacebuilding 101, and have some initial ideas for a digital peacebuilding program that can be further refined using the design skills we will share here.
